What’s next for the “Spawn” action figures line?
JOKER: The creator of the “Joker” action figure line, who has created two other action figures including the “Fear the Walking Dead” character, announced on Monday that the line will officially end on February 26.
The line, which sold more than 1.3 million figures, was a boon for JK Rowling, who was a fan of the line.
She tweeted on Monday, “I know a lot of fans loved the ‘Joker’ series and we’ll be happy to see it back in print.
The world is a better place with ‘Jokers’ in it.”
The line sold more and more figures as it drew in more fans and the company has expanded its line of action figures.
The company has released three “Spawnes,” a line of three “Jokers,” a series of action figure stands and accessories.
They will be available for pre-order starting at $60 each, according to the company.
“Spawns” are based on the “spawn” character from the popular animated television series “The Walking Dead,” which launched in 2013.
JKR’s tweet on the new figures announcement follows another tweet from JKR last month in which she thanked fans for their support.
She wrote: “I would like to thank you for your support, and for being so kind to me and my family during the darkest days of my life.
Thank you so much!”
JKR, who died at the age of 93 on April 25, is survived by her husband, novelist and film director Christopher Campbell, and her sons, Harry and Luke Campbell.
